Okay. So here’s the thing. I know Andy is not well liked. He is a rat. He kept saying it was “too soon” to break up McCranda. He backstabbed the Mom Squad. He bashes on Elissa incessantly.
But he’s played a good game.
Andy optimizes someone who has a good social game on Big Brother. He used the floater strategy flawlessly. He floated from group to group making sure not to make too many enemies in the process and was in the ear of every person. Other than Elissa’s HOH week, Andy had a hand in every eviction. He backstabbed Amanda and McCrae still kept him off the block, Amanda said that she was trying to help Andy’s game in her interview with Julie, and Elissa believed that McCrae turned on Amanda instead of Andy. That is a pretty awesome social game right there. He’s won competitions when he’s needed to and he’s gotten the right targets out of the game for him to win.
I get upset with Andy all the time as my followers would know. The things he has said about Elissa are so immature and he continues to keep going on about her weeks after her elimination. I also thought that he should have gotten out Amanda and even McCrae sooner.
However, that does not take away the fact that he has played a great game that every player who wants to use the floater strategy should take note of. He is not a floater that we all laugh about. We is not spineless. He is not cowardly. He does not just go with the house. Andy has been the house this whole game. Whenever people wanted to get things done they asked Andy. Helen, Jessie, and Spencer all asked Andy if they can get rid of Amanda on all different weeks. It was Andy’s choice to not get rid of her cause he believed that she was valuable to him. He was right cause Amanda and McCrae kept him safe until he backstabbed them. It was Andy’s choice to send all the other people home. He NEVER went with the house He and Amanda told the house what to do… he just didn’t bully people like Amanda did. Andy was a true floater, floating from group to group and targeting the people that were problems for him moving forward. Andy has a great social game and he deserves the 500,000 in the end. Also let’s not forget that Andy has now won 4 individual comps. Aaryn and McCrae are the only ones that beat that with 5 individual comps each. That is not too bad of a resume for Andy.
I just wanted to clear up before the final show that I never thought Andy was a bad player just a really obnoxious person. I do not appreciate his comments about Elissa, Candice, Jessie, and even Helen. But as many a contestant has said Big Brother is not a good person contest it is a social game with competitions thrown in. Andy has excelled on both fronts in comparison with the rest of his cast mates and he deserves to win the game. He deserves to win and If he does at least reach final two it would be a shame.
